System accurately and dynamically recreates eight battles fought between the 5th and 4th centuries BC among the poleis and regions of Hellas, simulating the combat dynamics between hoplite phalanxes, cavalry, and light troops.
The game is the first in the Schiere (Hosts) series, which aims to revisit great battles of Antiquity with an innovative combat system based on the interaction of Command cards assigned to groups of units prior to the battle, Friction cards to test actions and unit cohesion, and Combat cards to resolve engagements.

The original three-dimensional form of the counters offers an unprecedented front-and-back view of the armed figures, as well as clear, instant readability of unit types and their movement and combat factors.
