The game teaches themes from Buddhism and rebirth.

Basically, it's a race in which you want to be the first to reach space 64 (single victory). Since the game is played in 2 groups, there is also a group victory when all members of the group reach space 64.

A player rolls the dice and may - depending on the current special rule - move on, take a black or white stone, jump to a certain square. take an event card, etc. White stones can be exchanged for a stupa, which provides an aid to rebirth (restart). White and black stones may not be taken to the target field and must be worked off by sitting out.

In addition to the game instructions, the game box also contains a manual with a detailed explanation of the individual fields and their meaning in Tibetan Buddhism.
