Two mecha have been built from the wreck of the same crashed starship. The planet's sun is about to explode, and the one way off can carry a single machine.

Salvage is a push-your-luck mech combat game for two players, each driving one of those mecha. Starting from opposite camps, they cross a wreck-field of three lanes. They fight the creatures guarding the nodes and strip them for scrap, fuel and ammunition, and they race for the three fusion cells that can power a launch.

The weapons are six dice, from a d4 hand cannon to a d20 rocket launcher. A die that loses a fight goes back to a shared supply, so both players compete for the same six.

A player wins by carrying all three cells at once or by filling the enemy base track. If neither happens, the player with the most banked points wins when the 24-round countdown ends.
