If thou art reading this, I’m surely dead, most likely poisoned by that hag Griselda. If she’s not hanging from the gallows yet, I shall meet her in hell soon enough. I write to thank thee, in my own queer way, for being my last courier goblin. By now thou must know what manner of creature thou art? I recall when the Soggy Maiden brought crates of thy kind from distant SYND'R. The other lords called me mad for casting out my own peasants for thou goblin kind and though a heavy burden and a great expense to my sanity, I taught thee, I fed thee enough, and most of thy kin bit me for it. But thou never did. Thou listened. Thou learned. And thou earned me more coin than any of them. Thou wert the best of them. Now thou art the last. I leave thee my final stack of letters—do try to deliver them.
