Reign of Runes társasjáték

Angol leírás

In this game of exploration and warfare, two to six players explore a vast northern sea, battling rival Viking bands, recruiting warriors, trading with island villages, and slaying creatures of ancient legend.

Players get a longship, base camp marker, battle fame tracker, and board of matching color, and a hand of five cards. Placing the base camps along the edge of the map, they explore the world by drawing a card from the exploration deck when entering a new space, resolving its effect: cursed by a magic item, find bonus plunder, warrior for hire (extra dice), blessed by runestones, a city to trade or gamble in, or a monster to defeat. Alternatively, players can choose to attack each other in hopes of stealing some loot.

When a player has a high battle fame, and the Final Battle map space has been found, the Beast assaulting Yggdrasil is drawn, and the first player to defeat the beast wins the game.
