Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice invites you to relax, unplug, and unwind by enjoying all of the coziness of an Autumn weekend getaway. Walk through the woods while sipping a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Appreciate the Fall Foliage. Stumble across a Sleeping Fox. There’s plenty to enjoy indoors as well. Warm up with a nice Mug of Coffee. Or enjoy a steaming Hot Cup of Tea. There’s scrumptious Pumpkin Roll, fresh from the oven. Smell the Pumpkin Spice in the air. And don’t forget to pet Lola the Cuddly B&B Cat!

In Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice, you are enjoying an Autumn weekend getaway at the Cape Cozy Bed & Breakfast, the home of the original Pumpkin Spice Latte! During the game, the Cards that you play represent your Weekend, which will include both Outdoor and Indoor Experiences. Each Card has an Outdoor Half and an Indoor Half.

On the Outdoor Half of each Card, you will find a mix of Outdoor Experience Icons on top of a background of fallen leaves: Maple Leaf, Sleeping Fox, Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL), Pumpkin, and Oak Leaf.
On the Indoor Half of each Card, you will find a mix of Indoor Experience Icons on top of the Bed & Breakfast’s wooden table (woodgrain background): Hot Cup of Tea (with Cookie), Lola the Cuddly B&B Cat, Mug of Coffee, Pumpkin Roll, and Pumpkin Spice Blend.

Each Card contains a unique combination of Experience Icons. Your goal is to craft the ideal Autumn Weekend, balancing your Outdoor and Indoor Experiences.

To play: Draw and Play the topmost card from the Deck to your play area to Start your Weekend. Then Draw 2 more Cards. Play 1 of these Cards adjacent to each side of the Start Card. You choose which Card goes where. Remember these Cards go next to the Start Card but do not overlap it! Then Draw 2 additional Cards to form your Starting Hand. From this point forwards you will Play 1 Card from your Hand to your Weekend. Each new Card must be played overlapping (at least) one half of an existing Card (or Cards) in your Weekend. You may Play an Outdoor Half over an Indoor Half, an Outdoor Half over an Outdoor Half, an Indoor Half over an Outdoor Half or an Indoor Half over an Indoor Half. You can overlap sections of multiple Cards. You can even overlap an Entire Card! Once you Play a Card, immediately Draw a replacement Card to replenish your Hand. And that’s it! Keep Playing and Drawing Cards until you have played all 18 Cards. Once you Play the 18th Card, your long weekend is over and it’s time to add up your score! At the end of your stay at the Cape Cozy Bed & Breakfast, count the visible Outdoor and Indoor Experience Icons in your Weekend:

If the separate totals of the Outdoor and Indoor Experience Icons are within 0-3 Icons of each other: You had the ultimate cozy getaway and score both categories!
If the separate totals are farther apart, you still had a pretty great Weekend. Score your highest Experience Icon total (Outdoor or Indoor, not both).
