Pillanatkapitány küldetése ("Captain Mindful's Mission") is a Hungarian educational board game for 2–6 players or teams, ages 3–12, designed by psychologist Bagdi Bella and pedagogue Veres-Lukács Lilla. Based on the award-winning Pillanatkapitány book series (15,000+ copies sold), the game helps children develop emotional regulation, attention control, and self-control through playful, adventure-themed gameplay.

How to play:
Players embark on a sea voyage, moving their pawns around the board by rolling a die. When a pawn lands on a game field space, the player flips the disc and draws a Game Field Card, which presents a short mindfulness or emotional regulation challenge or activity. When a player reaches one of the thematic islands, they draw an Island Card with a more in-depth activity tied to skills such as impulse control, empathy, focus, or emotional expression.

Upon successfully completing a challenge, the player earns an Island Seal, which they record in their Ship Log and store in their personal Treasure Chest. Players may also earn seals through cooperative moments or by helping other players.

How to win:
The game ends when all islands have been visited or when one player fills their Treasure Chest with the required number of Island Seals. The player (or team) who has collected the most Island Seals at the end of the game wins. Ties are resolved by comparing the variety of seal types collected.

The game includes a full Game Booklet with rules, tips for parents and educators, and guidance on adapting the game for therapeutic or classroom settings.
