Create your own crossword using words from any paperback book.
A solo dry erase game on a single card.

Also available as in print and play format.

GOAL: Use all 26 (A-Z) letters from the alphabet to create and solve your own crossword puzzle using any book of your choice.

SETUP: Open any (paperback) book to a random page. Select eight random 3- to 8-letter words and write them horizontally in the highlighted boxes next to each arrow.

GAME PLAY: Insert your own words with three or more letters, connecting them vertically to the eight horizontal words. Write each letter downwards within the squares and mark off the used letters in the pool at the top. Leave an empty column between your words. Repeat until all 26 letters have been used. You may reuse the letters as needed to complete the challenge.

WINNING:
Use all 26 letters to interconnect all the horizontal words with the vertical words.

Leave no “orphans” (unconnected words).
