Os Cavaleiros do Zodíaco is a race and battle board game for 2 to 5 players, based on the classic Saint Seiya anime. Each player takes on the role of a Bronze Knight — Seiya, Hyoga, Shun, Shiryu, or Ikki — on a quest to reach the Sanctuary and defeat the evil Master Ares so that the goddess Athena may reclaim her rightful place.

Players start with five lives and roll a special die to move their heroes along individual paths that cross and diverge across the board. Spaces may instruct players to advance, go back, gain a life, or draw a luck card. When a hero lands on an enemy space, combat begins using Attack and Defense spinners — the attacker must meet or exceed the enemy's required strength within a limited number of attempts dictated by the enemy's token. Failure costs the hero one life, forcing them to retry next round. Losing all lives eliminates the player. As heroes approach the Sanctuary, enemies grow tougher, but so does the heroes' inner Cosmo. The first player to reach the Sanctuary and defeat the Master of Evil earns the Sagittarius Armor and wins the game.
