Order in Chaos is set in the middle ages, with each player attempting to build their kingdom and vanquish their enemies.

In Order in Chaos, 2-4 players use their villagers to commit to one of three actions:
1) Build a portion of their castle
2) Raid another player to disrupt their progress
3) Explore the wilds for valuable resources

Order in Chaos is a tableau, euro, deck-builder game. Each player draws a Castle card in the beginning giving that player a unique bonus such as "Villagers start with more health." They draw from the 39 Build cards and manage the Gold and work on each building to prioritize their Build Projects.

As the game progresses, each building contributes in a unique way:

The Market grants more gold for each new Villager
The Embassy permits you to buy Villagers with Gold
Towers protect your idle Villagers from being Raided

At the end of a turn, players draw a thematic Chaos card that can affect all players. Ultimately, they must prepare for War and try to stay one step ahead of their opponents.
