Nexus Transport is a route building logistics game powered by multi-use cards.It is a modular system of strategy games where players build economic networks and transport resources across themed landscapes. Each map pack presents a different setting—trains or spaceships for example —but the core economic and network-building mechanics remain constant. Players represent competing enterprises competing to establish the most profitable logistics networks.

On your turn, you take one action: play a card from your hand for its effect, use a board action (upgrade your engine or develop a city), or take a reload turn. Cards are your primary resource, and they can be spent for actions, money, or new resources. Better cards acquired through auction enable more efficient route-building and resource movement. You build connections on a hex grid by discarding cards to pay for terrain costs; you move resources along your completed networks to earn income. Deckbuilding is central: your starting deck is basic, but acquiring specialized cards creates synergies and powers your growth. Loans provide early-game liquidity with ongoing costs, creating a debt spiral that forces strategic borrowing and eventual stabilization. The economy is deliberately tight—most players will borrow in early rounds to fund expansion, stabilize mid-game as deliveries generate income, and compete intensely in the endgame.

Players earn victory points from a variety of sources. Success requires managing three simultaneous pressures: building a network efficient enough to generate steady income, winning auctions for cards that power your strategy, and managing your finances through the debt spiral. The game runs 4-6 rounds, creating natural pacing where early aggression, mid-game stabilization, and late-game optimization determine the winner. Players who balance expansion, acquisition timing, and economic discipline will accumulate the most victory points.
