Neutral is an easy-to-learn card game about climate with engaging gameplay that works perfectly regardless of the theme. It is enjoyable by players of all ages.

Players must gradually reduce their carbon footprint (sum of the cards in front of them). Values of the cards are their daily greenhouse gas emissions from food, transport, heating, shopping and travel. They range from 0 (Low) to 10. The emissions were calculated for France.

At the beginning of the game, you are a major big emitter. Your emissions from food, transport and heating are 30 kg.CO2.eq per day (sum of the cards in front of you). You have four "Earth cards".

One round of the game is one year. Adapt your lifestyle every year. Play 2 cards (habit or temporary cards). If you go over the maximum limit of the round, you will lose an "Earth card". During the game, the objective of the round decreases (from 25 to 5). If you lose all your "Earth cards", you are eliminated. Manage to spend a carbon-neutral year to win the game. If no one reaches carbon neutrality, the last player is the winner.
