Mythos Rising is set in 1939. The world is in turmoil with the conflicts of Europe, but back home, is a different threat.

Beings from a world apart, ancient entities of an unimaginable scale are trying to break into our world. To set eyes on such creatures would be to risk ones own sanity...

YOU play as an Investigator for the Midsummer Institute, a private secretive organisation that pushes these beings back to their side of the planes.

This time, a cult has risen up and has taken to performing rituals to allow such an entity to pass through.

Stop this... before it's too late...

Game Objective

Set inside on old manor house, you must explore the location and uncover enough 'clues cards' to unlock the final/hidden room, where you will face off against the final boss.

Game Play

The game is driven by a deck of cards. You will draw one card per turn and encounter the events detailed on that drawn card. Some cards provide multiple options and from there you get to choose which path you will take.

The cards range from NPCs, Opponents, Locations, Mythos Clue cards and Equipment. When drawing a location card you can choose a variety of options on how to encounter it, entering inside will lead to unique rewards.

Combat and skill checks are resolved through dice rolls.
