MorphMove is a two-player abstract strategy game played on a 5×7 grid. Each player controls six pieces. A triangle moves one space forward, a four-point star moves one space orthogonally, and an eight-point star moves to any adjacent space.

Players alternate taking one action with a piece. After moving, that piece changes to the next shape in a fixed cycle: triangle, four-point star, eight-point star, then triangle again. A piece may move into an empty space or swap positions with an opposing piece. When pieces swap, both change shape, and those same two pieces cannot swap back on the following turn.

The center of the board forms a five-space cross. A player wins by occupying three spaces in that cross at the end of the opponent’s turn, so the position must survive the opponent’s response.
