There are two ways to win: by winning the Driver's Championship if you're the first to cross the finish line of the Monopoly GP circuit, or by winning the Constructor's Championship by earning the most points.
Properties are represented by race cards. By being the first to land on them, you can purchase them, but you must race to defend them. Whenever you land on an opponent's property, instead of paying rent, you must challenge them by rolling the dice. If you win, you can take the card; otherwise, you pay.
At the start of the game, everyone chooses their favorite team (there are 11 different ones), each of which has a special ability to use during races. Ability modifier cards and car component cards complete the game, providing advantages in challenges.
