In Mochi Mochi, adorable cats are gathering to build the purr-fect pyramid! Players draft cards featuring seven different Mochi Cat families, each with its own way to help you score. Over multiple rounds, you’ll choose cards, pass the rest to your neighbor, and carefully add each cat to your growing pyramid.

Building your pyramid is a puzzle. Cards in each tier must be arranged in ascending order from left to right, and every card placed on a higher tier must have a value equal to or between the two cards supporting it. If a card cannot be legally placed, it is turned face down and becomes a Wild Card. Wild Cards can make future placements easier, but they cost you points at the end of the game. Special cats such as Nami (Wave) and Sakana (Fish) can also manipulate cards in your pyramid or the River, giving you ways to improve your arrangement.

But building a legal pyramid is only part of the challenge. Different Mochi Cats score in different ways: compete for fruit majorities, collect Nami and Sakana in the lower tiers, create pairs of Kokoro, place Nemu throughout your pyramid, connect Castle Walls, and try to collect all seven Mochi Cat families.

Once everyone has completed their pyramid, players add their round and end-game scoring and subtract penalties for Illegal Cards. The player with the most points wins!
