Mixtura is a creative word game for two or more players where quick thinking and imagination are put to the test. Each player starts with six illustrated cards — each card showing a picture on one side and its word broken into syllables on the other — along with three power cards, a screen, and a pawn on a shared board.

Each round has two phases. First, players secretly combine syllables from their cards to form at least one new word behind their screens. Then, one at a time, each player presents their word by placing the cards image-side up and naming each picture aloud. The other players flip an hourglass and race to guess the hidden word before time runs out. A correct guess lets the guesser advance spaces equal to the word's syllable count, while an incorrect guess or timeout lets the presenter advance instead. Power cards add strategic twists, and star spaces on the board grant immunity from attacks. After each round, players swap one card for a new draw.

The game ends once at least one player completes a full lap around the board, and the player who has traveled the farthest wins.
