Migoyugo is a 2-player abstract strategy game - white vs black - played on an 8x8 board and white plays first. There are only 2 different pieces in the game - temporary pieces that can be removed (a Migo) and permanent pieces which can never move (a Yugo). The objective is to build an unbroken line of exactly 4 Yugos of your own color (an Igo) which wins immediately.

Players take turns placing Migos on any open square*, alternating white and black. When you form one unbroken line or multiple intersecting lines (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) of exactly 4 pieces of your own color, the last piece placed becomes a Yugo and all Migos in the line are removed, leaving behind only the Yugo created and any other Yugos already in that line. *At no time may a player create an unbroken line of more than 4 in a row of any combination of Migos and/or Yugos of their own color.

There is a second win condition if no one is able to build an Igo. If on your turn, you are unable to make a legal move, or if all 64 squares are filled, the game ends (a Wego) and the player with the most Yugos is declared the winner. If both players have the same number of Yugos, the game is drawn.
