In Metal Flowers, a medium-to-heavyweight sci-fi competitive battle racing game, players blast into an otherworldly cosmic circuit fueled by a mysterious energy known as "Ether." Players control asymmetrical, specialized robot-girls equipped with massive, customizable mechanical limbs—known as "Giganto Arms"—as they tear through space racing circuits to become the ultimate champion.

Unlike traditional racing games where crossing the finish line first automatically crowns the winner, Metal Flowers introduces a strategic scoring twist. While moving quickly is vital, players win by accumulating the most Victory Points (VP). VPs are earned dynamically throughout the race-day by putting on a spectacular show for the audience, satisfying corporate sponsors, and dealing direct combat damage to rival racers.

The core engine revolves around a high-energy dice system. Players roll a massive pool of dice, converting the results into "Ether energy" to power their actions, activate core mech systems, and pilot their racers along a modular hexagonal grid track. To gain the upper hand, players draft and deploy unique "Gear Cards," chaining tactical card abilities together to unleash powerful speed boosts or offensive strikes. To survive the circuit, players must carefully manage their mech's wear-and-tear, executing timed repairs while exploiting their character's distinct asymmetrical strengths.
