Set 12 years after the events of Mercurial, Mercurial: Alchemia portrays the resurgence of alchemy within the now thriving allied city of Concordia at the heart of Valanyr.

You’ll take on the role of a budding Alchemist, eager to discover what hidden possibilities the exotic flora and fauna of Valanyr may hold for elixir-making. Besides your repertoire of magical tools and reagents, you and other Alchemists will each maintain a Sylpharium; a massive, fantastical terrarium finely tuned for the cultivation of Valanyric flora and fauna.

Browse the vibrant Taliq’ir Bazaar to purchase the seeds, spores and eggs you wish to introduce to your Sylpharium. Visit the impressive Runaliths and attune them with elemental energies to acquire enchantments for your growing ecosystem.

Chance a meeting with rival alchemists and their companion Arcanas and collaborate to contribute to each other’s projects.

You’ll also rely on the support and resources afforded to you by the Guild, although your membership will require you to discharge certain duties, which you must carefully balance with your alchemical pursuits.

As you brew your experimental potions, you must choose your ingredients from your Sylpharium carefully, as each contains unique qualities that may either complement or negate one another. Your mastery and knowledge are all that makes the difference between concoctions that push the boundaries of magic… or utter failure.

Embark on a journey of alchemical discovery and aim to make your mark as a master alchemist, either by creating your magnum opus… or possibly the fabled Philosopher’s Stone!
