How to Play Math Masters – the magical math board game

Objective of the game
Be the first player to reach the finish by solving math problems correctly. Along the way, use strategy cards and special spaces to move ahead faster.

Setup

Choose which board to use (100 or 210).
Each player selects a meeple.
Shuffle the math cards and place them on the cardfield on the board.
All players start on position 1.

Gameplay
Draw a card

The player whose turn it is draws the top card from the stack.
A math problem is shown on the card.
Solve the math problem out loud

Turn outcome
Correct answer → move the figure to the space with the result of the calculation.
Wrong or don’t know →

Option A: the figure stays put.
Option B: the player asks the others for help. With the correct joint answer, the figure may still move forward.

Strategy & extra chances
Land on a green bonus space? → Draw another card immediately and continue.
Special cards (Arrow card, Teleportation Gate etc.) can help you move forward faster.

After the turn ends, play continues with the next player.

End of the game
The first to reach the finish wins.

If the stack of cards runs out or time is up: the player closest to the finish wins.
