It's Halloween night, and every year on this very day, something terrifying happens at the abandoned mansion on top of the hill — the neighbors report strange shuffling sounds! It's the annual Halloween competition, held since the days of Count Dracula! Monsters and ghosts compete in the most fearsome — oops, famous — contest in the world! Supernatural, of course! Learn to use the secret passages, special powers, and abilities of each character to claim the grand trophy!

Mansão Mal Assombrada is an asymmetric chase game for 2–5 players. One player controls the Ghost team (a Big Ghost and several Little Ghosts) while the others play as classic monsters — Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, and the Werewolf — each with a unique ability (Dracula passes through windows, Frankenstein captures from two spaces away, the Mummy teleports between sarcophagi, the Werewolf moves extra fast). The Ghost team can walk through walls, and the Big Ghost can swap positions with any Little Ghost as a defensive maneuver. On their turn, players spin their character's spinner and move that many spaces. Landing on the character icon lets them draw an ability card with powerful one-time effects.

The monsters win by capturing the Big Ghost, but must first eliminate all Little Ghosts. The Ghost player wins by either capturing all the monsters or collecting four Medallion pieces from treasure chests scattered across the board. Each chest collected lets the Ghost draw a card — Medallion pieces are kept, while ability cards are discarded. Monsters can also draw ability cards from chests, but this creates a strategic tension: the more cards they take, the easier it becomes for the Ghost to find Medallions.
