Magyar Szókártyák (Hungarian Word Cards) is a deck of Hungarian alphabet word-building cards produced by Piatnik in the 1940s. The game is played with the 80 cards featuring the letters of the Hungarian alphabet.

Players:
The game is suitable for 2 or more players.

Dealing:
Shuffle the cards thoroughly. Then, deal a set number of cards to each player, commonly 7 cards, but this can be adjusted to make the game longer or shorter.

Gameplay:
The first player starts by laying down a word formed from their hand of cards. The word must be a valid Hungarian word. From then on, players can add letters to the beginning or end of existing words, or they can form entirely new words. The "AZ" card acts as a wild card and can represent any letter the player chooses. At the end of the turn, the player draws cards to fill their hand back to its original size.

Scoring:
The scoring system can be determined by the players. For example: Each letter can be worth 1 point. Longer words can earn bonus points. Using all the cards in your hand at once can earn a significant bonus.

Challenging:
If a player believes that a word formed by another player is not a valid Hungarian word, they can challenge it. If the challenge is successful, the challenged player must take back their cards.

Winning:
The game continues until all players have used all their cards, or until no more words can be formed. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.
