The game setting is a restaurant that serves traditional Indonesian foods. One day, The Chef falls ill and cannot continue the business. The players are the children of The Chef, competing against each other to inherit the business and carry on the legacy. Be the savior and prove that you can be the best successor in the family! In Luwenak!, players collect as many Customer Cards and Food Tokens as possible. The winner is the first to reach 15 points.
Players have color tokens that they exchange for matching Ingredient Cards. Then players combine their Ingredient Cards to make recipes represented by food tokens, having various point values. Players also gain points by matching food tokens with a customer's favorite food.
