IntroductionLonsi (from Old Norse: lǫng sýn, meaning "distant sight") is a strategy game for two players: Black and White. It is played on the hexes (cells) of a hexagonal board, initially set up with white stones, black stones, and empty cells, arranged in such a way that each stone is adjacent to enemy stones but not to others of the same color. The recommended size is 8 cells per side, although boards of 6 or 10 are also valid. Each player has access to a sufficient supply of stones of their own color.

Definitions:
A visual connection is a maximal set of empty cells in a straight line between two friendly stones.
The value of a visual connection is the number of cells it contains. An empty cell can be part of several visual connections and is counted separately in each of them.

Turns:White plays first, and then turns alternate. On your turn, move one of your stones in a straight line, jumping over a single enemy stone; there may be empty cells before or after the jumped stone, and the move must end on an empty cell adjacent to friendly stones. Upon landing, any friendly stones adjacent to the occupied cell are removed from the board. If you cannot move any of your stones, you must pass your turn; otherwise, passing is not allowed.

End of the game:The game ends when players pass in consecutive turns. At the end of the game, points are calculated as the sum of the values ​​of the friendly visual connections, plus half a point for the player with the longest visual connection. If there is a tie, the next longest connections are compared until a difference is found. If they all match, the half point goes to the player who passed first. The player with the highest score wins.
