With your trusty steam locomotive, you travel from station to station, collecting goods along the way and organizing them as skillfully as possible to load them efficiently.

Each player may choose one of four available actions during their turn:

1. Draft goods
There are 6 train cars/goods in the middle of the table. Players may pick up all cards that are either the same color or have the same letter.

2. Couple a train car
Couple a train car from the display to your shunting locomotive and optionally use its effect. Each railcar has a value of 1–4, and each number represents a unique special effect.

3. Move a railcar
Move a railcar from your shunting locomotive to your mainline locomotive and discard the corresponding number of cards from your hand. Only railcars of the same color or letter may be coupled to your shunting locomotive.

4. Recycle
Turn a train car over, discard any number of cards from your hand, and attach it to your mainline locomotive. Recycled train cars are worth minus 1 point, but any train car can be attached to them afterwards.

The first player to reach a total score of 14/16 with their coupled train cars on his mainline locomotive wins the game.
