Literary Quicktionary is an "all-play" word game in which there are no turns. Quickly think of a literary word or phrase that meets all the conditions on the three face-up cards. The first person to shout out a valid answer earns a card. The first player to earn five cards wins!

The game has three sets of cards: teal, orange, and purple (34 cards each). The teal cards give the broadest category: "associated with horror," "associated with romance novels," etc. The orange cards are about the words: "is exactly seven letters long," "does not contain two vowels next to each other," etc. The purple cards are about letters: "contains the letter B," begins with the letter F," etc.
