Step into the shoes of Romulus, the Reges who followed him, and the Consules of the First Republic to conquer the Bronze Age Latium.
This new edition of Latium is enriched by the History booklet, directly inspired by Titus Livius's monumental work Ab Urbe condita. It recreates the Events that shaped the history of nascent Rome, leading the player through to the Cassian Treaty of 493 B.C.

The player (Romanus) faces a fierce simulated opponent(Aemulus), which actively resists the expansion of the nucleus born on the Palatine Hill.
Through the exploitation of territorial resources, diplomacy, the strengthening of the State, martial power, and the aid of the Gods, the player must conquer the entire Latium depicted on the game board within the 64th turn.
The graphic design is directly inspired by ancient statues and frescoes from the 8th, 7th, and 6th centuries B.C.
The battles, brief yet intense, place the Aemulus on an equal footing with the Romanus.
The 4 Actiones cards manage the moves and reactions of both players, while the Auxilia Deorum assist the player in overcoming setbacks and obstacles in politics, economy, and war. Rome's growing power commands respect and fear among other civitates, compelling them to recognize its authority and enter into treaties and alliances.
