Last Call at Blackwood Lounge is a murder-mystery investigation game in which players examine a case file concerning the death of Victor Hale at Blackwood Lounge.

Players investigate the case through police reports, witness interviews, forensic findings, surveillance records, timelines, digital records, photographs, and other evidence. They compare information across the case file, identify contradictions, evaluate suspects, and establish a theory of what happened and who is responsible.

The case can be investigated alone or cooperatively. Players may work with the materials digitally, print them, or use a combination of both. Online elements provide additional evidence, optional hints, and a final-answer submission system. A correct submission unlocks the final case briefing.
