Karljohansvern spillet is a fun and educational family game that blends the thrill of Monopoly-style investing with the challenge of a quiz. Set in the historic naval base of Karljohansvern in Horten, Norway, players buy shares in local businesses, draw event cards, and compete to collect unique quiz tokens from cultural landmarks such as the Naval Museum, the Canal, and the Old Gate.

The game is designed for 2–4 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 45–90 minutes. While moving around the colorful board, you’ll balance luck and clever choices: make smart investments, answer questions about history and culture, and seize opportunities as they appear.
