Iron Quest: The First Ember is a Viking exploration roll-and-write game for 1 player. You take on the role of a Viking captain commanded by your King to sail the North Sea. Lead a skilled crew, settle uncharted islands, defeat outcast raiders and claim new lands for your people.

The game is played over 15 rounds. Each round, you use dice to perform actions such as recruiting skilled crew members, building settlements on new islands, lighting ancient beacons to unlock Rune Power and defeating the northern outcast Raiders.

The game ends after the 15th round. If you have successfully fulfilled all of the King’s Orders, you will earn Glory Points based on the expansion of your settlements on each island. Total your Glory Points (GP) to determine your final rank.
