Invasion of Kaldora is a strategic, hero-driven war game for 3–5 players set in the medieval-fantasy world of Kaldora. Players command asymmetric armies across a modular battlefield, conquering castles, harvesting resources, and leading legendary heroes into combat. This second edition reimagines the original Invasion: The Conquest of Kings with streamlined rules, improved components, and the full Heroes of Kaldora expansion bundled in.

Game Overview

At its core, Invasion blends area control, resource management, and tactical combat. Each turn, players recruit units, position armies, and leverage their hero’s unique powers to outmaneuver opponents and seize the kingdom's strongholds. Battles are resolved quickly but strategically, using custom dice and situational bonuses.

Victory is earned by claiming a set number of castles or defeating your opponents through tactical dominance.
