Every card in Inimaginable tells a true historical story, drawn from the margins of French and world history, so improbable that it seems made up.

The player holding the card becomes the keeper of the mystery: only they know the explanation. The others question them to uncover it, but the keeper may only answer "yes" or "no". Players chase far-fetched theories or close in on the truth.

When someone proposes an explanation that touches the truth or captures its spirit, the keeper may end the round and names the player who came closest to the unimaginable.
