Objective
Find hidden words spanning adjacent letters. Three game modes.

Lasercut Components
• Wooden game board

• 72 tri-letter tiles
• 2 dry erase markers

• 1 dry erase cover sheet
• 2 bombs.

Setup

1. Place all tiles randomly within the game board.
2. Attach the dry erase cover.

3. Give each player a different coloured dry erase marker.
4. Grab a paper and pencil for scoring.

Modes

Solo Word Search
Your goal is to find all the hidden words of three or more letters. With the dry erase sheet in place, mark all the words you can find from adjacent letters in any direction. You cannot reuse a marked letter.

Two Player Duel
The goal is to be the first person to claim a continuous line of hexes from one end of the board to the other. Both players sit across from each other. With the dry erase sheet in place, take turns marking all the words you can find from adjacent letters in any direction.
As a strategy, attempt to block your opponent by marking a word ahead of their anticipated route.

Using a Bomb: Each player has one bomb at the start of the game. A bomb can be used to open up an area of letters, generally when stuck and unable to get to the other side. Use the bomb to erase one opponent’s word. You may only use the bomb once per game.

Multi-Player Word Search
Your goal is to find and score the most hidden words. With the dry erase sheet in place, take turns marking and scoring words from adjacent letters in any direction. Call out your word, mark it and score one point per letter in the word found. Bombs are not used.
After about ten turns, lift the dry erase sheet and swap ten pairs of tiles, then continue.

Challenging a Word
Players should agree on a dictionary or word list before beginning. Another player may challenge a word before its stones are returned to the Well. When the word is invalid, no points are scored and the player’s turn ends. The winner will have the most points once no more words can be discovered.

Permitted Words
Unless players agree otherwise, words may not be abbreviations, acronyms or foreign words. Proper nouns are allowed.
The same player may not score the same word more than once during a game. Different players may score the same word.
