Hockey League is a two-player ice hockey game combining deck construction, tactical management, and dice rolling. At the beginning of the game, each player builds their deck and takes control of a team with its own characteristics.

During the match, player characteristics combined with dice rolls determine, among other things, the success of various actions and duels on the ice. Cards can influence the course of the game in many different ways: they can enhance or modify actions and duels, as well as affect other aspects of the game. Some provide immediate, temporary effects, while others remain in play and have a lasting influence on the match.

The box contains a wide variety of cards, allowing players to build different decks and develop multiple strategies. Each player can shape their team according to their preferred play style and seek out synergies between their team's characteristics and the cards they have selected. These mechanics create a fast-paced game in which the balance of the match can shift frequently, reflecting the changes in momentum and unpredictability of an ice hockey game.

The objective is to win the match by scoring more goals than your opponent.
