Hitster: Flying Mic is a fast-paced party game that merges music trivia with quick reflexes, challenging players to build a chronological timeline of hit songs. Teams take turns listening to music clips played via a companion app, but the race begins the moment anyone recognizes a track and presses a button to launch a physical microphone into the air. Players then scramble to catch the mic, which triggers a color-coded challenge on its base requiring them to name the song title, identify the artist, determine if the track is by a solo act or a group, or hum the melody. If the catching team successfully completes the challenge, they must accurately place the card's release year into their growing musical timeline. The first team to successfully build a timeline of eight correctly placed cards wins the game.
