When an ancient relic awakens with a necromantic fury, only one hero can stop an undead horde from sweeping across the Runecrest Valley: you.
During your first mission for the Bandit Prince (which had promised to be routine), you become irrevocably bound to the two halves of a mysterious crown, drawing the ire of undead forces driven by an insatiable hunger for the relic’s restored might. As word of this foul awakening spreads across the valley, other sinister forces take note, eager to exploit its untold powers.
In your quest for answers, you discover two paths to freedom – the return of the crown to its original resting place or your death while trying. On your journey, various factions vie to seize the relic’s awakened powers, forcing you to forge strategic alliances and navigate treacherous waters. Only through clever strategy, steadfast resolve, and perhaps a bit of trust, can you hope to survive your perilous trek and prevent the catastrophic potential of the forsaken crown from falling into the wrong hands.
