The primary goal in Happy Heights is to strategically match symbols between adjacent buildings while efficiently managing your building plans, reserve options, and placement opportunities to maximize your final score.

Each card in Happy Heights represents one of the following:

Building Cards:
Serve as the foundational level of a multi-story building or can be stacked/built an existing building to add additional levels.

Storefront (Shop) Cards:
These feature random symbols on the left and right sides and a multiplier icon on the top, along with a distinctive sloped roof. A shop can function as a standalone storefront or, when stacked, as the penthouse floor of a building. Once a shop becomes a penthouse, it loses its shop status and no further floors can be added on top. The multipliers on these cards score based on the number of unbroken, connected symbols from the bottom floor upward.

Park and Bus Stop Cards:
These cards do not have symbols. Instead, they serve to exponentially increase in point value the more parks or bus stops you have in your neighbourhood.
Each card also displays bonus indicators (for example, “worth 2 points if your neighbourhood has a butcher shop”), adding extra layers of strategy and scoring opportunities.

Scoring & Objective
At the end of the game, when each player has drafted their 12th card, scoring is conducted based on several criteria:

Buildings:
Earn 1 point for each main floor building constructed, plus additional bonus points as indicated on the cards.

Adjacent Matching Symbols:
Gain 1 point for every matching symbol between adjacent buildings.

Parks and Bus Stops:
These cards score exponentially, so a well-planned cluster can significantly boost your score.

Penthouses:
Multipliers on penthouse floors contribute extra points, based on the connected symbols from the bottom floor upward.
