Hamstack is a card game in which players push their luck balancing hamsters of matching colors; in hand and on the ball.

The dealer will draw and look at a number of hamster cards (7 for 3 players, 9 for 4 players). They can only change the position of 1 card drawn, then create piles facedown equal to the number of players. The dealer will then choose to flip a top card of one of the piles, and place a ham token on a different pile. Use this wisely to trick other players into leaving the stack YOU want, as dealer has to pick the remaining pile.

There are 3 colors of hamster: blue, pink, and yellow. Cards will have 1 or 2 hamsters on them. After gaining a pile, players can play 2 hamsters(2 single hamster or 1 double hamster) of matching color on their ball from their hand. This will let players potentially gain points next round, but the next dealer might rig the stacks to make you burst; at 5 hamsters of the same color in your hand/on the ball total. When this happens all the hamsters of that color you have are discarded and you lose a ham token gained that round.

If you don't burst, you will discard the scored hamsters and gain point chips, which will have point values on the bottom revealed at the end of the round. The end of the round is triggered when one player has 5 point chips in front of them. Tally up the points hidden on them to determine winner of the round. 2 Ham tokens can be spent to gain one of these chips but careful not to get fooled by the bribe. Win 2 rounds to win the game.
