Gyógypuszi (“Healing Kiss”) is a preschool board game inspired by the Bogyó és Babóca children’s books by Erika Bartos. The theme centers on friendly animal characters visiting Doctor Brumm’s clinic to get better, reinforcing a sense of safety and care while introducing young children to the idea of overcoming illness with help and support.

The game provides two modes of play. In the roll-and-move mode, each child selects a character pawn and rolls a die to advance along a path toward the doctor’s office. This mode teaches basic number recognition, counting spaces, and sequential movement while keeping the atmosphere light and playful. In the picture-search mode, children use the illustrated boards to find hidden details or specific items. This activity sharpens observation, memory, and attention to detail, offering a calm, non-competitive alternative.

The overall gameplay is simple, with turns progressing quickly and rounds lasting about 10–20 minutes. The dual modes allow families to choose between a more traditional race-to-the-finish format or a cooperative, exploratory activity depending on the group’s needs.

The goal of the game is not only to reach the doctor first but also to encourage empathy, cooperation, and confidence. By playing through familiar and comforting themes, children experience the joy of shared play while learning fundamental skills in counting, turn-taking, and focus.
