It’s Halloween! You and your friends, dressed in your coolest costumes, are out trick-or-treating. Grab lots of candy and magic spells - but don’t get too greedy! Too much candy will make you sick, unless you have the right magic spell... Will you grab the tastiest treats, or will your friends snatch them from under your witchy nose?

The game is played over three rounds. Each round has two phases:
the Grab Phase and the Puzzle Phase.

Grab Phase
Starting with the first player and continuing clockwise, players take turns playing one candy or spell card from their hand into the central Candy Jar. Candy cards show 1 to 4 pieces of candy and come in five different candy types.

At any moment, when a player likes what’s in the Candy Jar, they may slap their hand on it and grab the entire pile, placing all the cards into their personal Candy Jar.
The fastest grabber wins the pile, so do you wait for one more delicious card, or snatch the pile before a friend beats you to it?
Across the entire game (that is all three rounds combined)) each player may grab a maximum of 7 times.
After a set number of grabs, depending on the player count, the Grab Phase ends and the Puzzle Phase begins.

Puzzle Phase
Now it’s time to score points using the candies and spells in your personal Candy Jar.
Candy is great, but don’t grab too much! Each candy is worth 1 point, but if you collect more than 5 candies of a type, that type scores 0 points. Grab exactly 5, and you earn 3 bonus points.

Luckily, the spell cards you’ve collected let you magically manipulate your candy, so puzzle out the best combinations to maximise your points!

After three rounds, the greediest grabber with the most points wins the game... and becomes the Halloween candy champion!
