Golfchis is a tabletop game that recreates, as closely as possible, the principles, strategy and many of the situations of golf played on a real course. Players compete over an 18-hole tabletop golf course, with the aim of completing the round in the fewest strokes.

Instead of striking a ball with physical golf clubs, players use different dice representing the clubs in a golfer's bag. By choosing the appropriate club die for each stroke, players advance their ball along the course and face many familiar golf situations, including fairways, rough, bunkers, penalty areas, trees, putting greens and out-of-bounds areas.

Golfchis follows rules similar to those of on-course golf, while establishing its own rules for tabletop play. Each course may also have its own Local Rules. The player who completes the stipulated round in the fewest strokes wins.
