Godmaker is a rogue-lite fantasy campaign game with similarities to action RPGs like Path of Exile or Diablo. An app tracks numerous stats including players level, skills, equipment, injuries, etc., crunches the numbers and at the beginning of each mission gives the players simple settings to adjust on their player boards.

A unique dice system provides points to players who can spend them on several dice of the size (d6, d8, and d12) and type (body, spirit, and mind) as best fits their style of play.

Unlike many games of this nature, encounters are short - about 30 minutes, and players level after each one. A single campaign lasts for a game year, during which time the heroes accomplish as much as they can. Travel, resting, and injuries (which occur aplenty!) all chip at the limited time. Players race against the clock, accomplishing what they can before the lich and his undead minions sweep the land clean at year's end and the players must begin anew.

But not from scratch! Heroes eliminated by the lich are added to the Pantheon and, depending on their level, skills and fame points gained during the past year, will benefit new heroes during the next year's campaign. Campaigns repeat until heroes become godlike and are able to defeat the lich!
