Game Play Structure
The game follows a turn-based, high-pressure sequence that rotates clockwise around the table. Each turn introduces a rapid-fire duel between a rotating narrator and an active guesser trying to beat a strict countdown.
What a Player Does on Their Turn
During a player's active turn, they face the pressure of the clock while another player controls the deck. The sequence plays out through distinct, rapid actions:
1. The Interrogator's Actions
• Draw and Target: One player takes the role of "The Interrogator" for the turn. They draw a card from the deck corresponding to the age group of the player sitting to their left (the "Challenged Player").
• Read and Time: The Interrogator reads the prompt aloud (e.g., "Give me 3 things teenagers do that drive you mad" or "Give me 3 family vacation spots") and immediately starts the 10-second countdown timer.
• Judge: Once the timer expires, the Interrogator evaluates whether the answers were valid, acceptable, and given in time.
2. The Challenged Player's Actions
• Blurt Out Answers: The active player has exactly 10 seconds to blurt out 3 correct answers that fit the prompt. Because the timer is so fast, players must blurt out whatever enters their mind without filtering it.
• Claim the Point: If the player successfully names 3 valid items before time runs out, they win the card to add to their personal victory pile. If they fail, they get no points, and the card goes to a discard pile.
3. Specialty Modifiers and Decks
• Decks by Age Group: When it is a child's turn to answer, the Interrogator must draw from the Kids deck; if it is an adult's turn, they draw from the Adult deck, keeping the difficulty balanced.
• Challenge Modes: Some cards feature sudden-death duels or extra constraints that force players to answer without using specific forbidden words.
Game End and Winning
When the Game Ends
The game officially ends the moment a single player manages to collect exactly 10 cards in their personal victory pile.
How a Player Wins
The first player to successfully earn 10 points (by winning 10 cards) is declared the ultimate champion. Winning requires the ability to bypass overthinking and spit out common-sense answers rapidly under social pressure.
