Gestura: Endemic Animal Edition is a team-based deduction game about Indonesia’s unique endemic animals. One team secretly selects an animal and communicates its characteristics through gestures, while the opposing team attempts to identify the correct animal. Each animal card contains rankings for five characteristics: Weight, Speed, Population, Sound, and Lifespan.

During a round, the Gesture Team secretly chooses a Mystery Animal from a set of five animal cards. One characteristic card is randomly removed, so only four characteristics will be used that round. For each remaining characteristic, the Gesture Team performs gestures that indicate how high or low the Mystery Animal ranks compared to all animals in the game. The Guessing Team interprets these gestures and places each Characteristic Card into one of five Ranking Zones.

After all clues have been given, the five animal cards are revealed and arranged in random order. Using the ranking information from the placed Characteristic Cards and the data shown on the animal cards, the Guessing Team discusses and determines which animal they believe is the Mystery Animal.

The team scores 1 point if the correct animal is identified. Players switch roles between rounds, alternating between giving gestures and making deductions. After six rounds, the total score determines the team’s final rank, from Explorer to Endemic Animal Expert.
