You will be collecting flowers to create the most beautiful bouquet.
Shuffle all the flower cards. Form a column of 12 flower cards BETWEEN EACH PAIR OF PLAYERS. The flower cards must overlap so that ALL flowers are visible. Put the remaining flower cards back in the box, as they will not be used. Each player shares the column on their left with the player to their left, and shares the column on their right with the player to their right.
Starting with the first player and then continuing clockwise, players take turns to pick up ONE UNCOVERED flower card from the base of either the column on their left OR the column on their right. Each player places the flower card they picked up IN FRONT OF THEMSELF on the table, face up, to form their own personal bouquet. You must overlap the flower cards you collect so that they are always visible to the other players throughout the game.
During the game, when ONE COLUMN of flower cards RUNS OUT, the active player still gets to choose between two flower cards: the uncovered flower card at the base of their nearest left column OR the uncovered flower card at the base of their nearest right column. During the game, when only ONE SINGLE COLUMN REMAINS, the active player can still choose between two flower cards: the uncovered flower card at the BASE of the column or the partially-covered flower card placed at the OTHER END of that column.
When the final column of flower cards runs out, the game ends. All players will have collected 12 flower cards. Now proceed to scoring.
Each player scores points based on the COLOURS of the flower cards they have collected in their personal bouquet:

ONE POSITIVE POINT for each card of a particular COLOUR if you have THREE OR MORE flower cards of that same COLOUR in your bouquet.
ONE NEGATIVE POINT for each card of a particular COLOUR if you only have ONE OR TWO flower cards of that same COLOUR in your bouquet.

Each player also scores points for the flower SHAPES on the flower cards they have collected:

ONE POSITIVE POINT for each card of a particular FLOWER SHAPE if you have THREE OR MORE flower cards with that SHAPE in your bouquet.
ONE NEGATIVE POINT for each card of a particular FLOWER SHAPE if you only have ONE OR TWO flower cards with that SHAPE in your bouquet.

Each player adds the points they scored from COLOURS to the points they scored from SHAPES. The winner is the player with the highest score. In case of a tie, victory is shared.
