Game of Gods is a quick-playing micro game for two players that uses only 18 cards. The goal is to outscore your opponent by cleverly positioning your own Gods, and using their powers to influence the cards on the table.

Each player receives an identical hand of 9 Gods cards, and discards two at random at the start of the game. Players then take turns to play one card at a time, until both players have played all 7 of their cards.

When playing a card, you can play it face up or face down, and after playing your card you will resolve all the effects of the face up God cards in your tableau. You need to be careful though, because sometimes you won't want to resolve an effect as it will negatively affect one of your own cards.

Timing is key to maximize the effects of the God cards, and because you'll only score points for your face up Gods at the end of the game. Each God has arrows on their God that will score a point for you if you have another God in the corresponding position.
