The Bats of Purple Valley live quietly in their cave. They generally dislike spending much energy. They prefer small negatives over large ones. They seem to live at a leisurly, unhurried pace. But on nights when the full moon rises, it's different... The great party begins and now, more and more companions gather... and the more, the merrier!

For the Moon is a ladder climbing game. The cards usually are negative, going weakest to strongest from -9 to -1. They must play a number of cards of the same value on the table, and the players must follow with the same number of cards with a higher value.

However, at any point, the players can place their moon coin on the invitation card to trigger the World of Positivity: the pile is cleared, that player draws one card of their choice from the discard and all players turn their cards around, and now the -1 become +1, -2 become +2, etc. This effectively reverses the card strengths, with the weakest -9 becoming the strongest +9.

The World of Positivity continues until everyone passes. Then the players turn their cards around again and they play with the negative values once more.

The first one to discard all their cards wins!
