A Floor It! egy nagyon könnyen tanulható társasjáték, 2 - 9 játékos részére, az átlagos játékidő rövid, csak 15 perc. A társas elsősorban gyerekeknek készült, akár már 7 éves kortól is játszható. A játékmenet erősen épít a merj és nyerj és a rács mozgás mechanizmusokra.

Floor It! is very easy to play. Players choose the number of laps to race and then move around the track by choosing one of three card types - Floor It!, Cruise, or Take It Easy.

The game is a trade-off between speed and safety. Each player must decide how they will drive in order to safely navigate the course. It is safest when driving in a straight section of the course. The greatest danger is when driving in a corner. A driver who decides to go fast or "floor it" is more likely to crash than a driver who chooses to "take it easy".
