Advanced base building, USN concrete floating drydocks, Spig Wead's jeep carrier support group, marine and army divisions, B-29s, Kamikaze aircraft and boats.
Japanese must get fuel and gas up to Japan and must get manufactured munitions and aircraft down into the fight.
US must decide which ships will arrive for use and when ... and be right
Once Marianas or Formosa or Okinawa - B-24s from there too - taken, B-29s launch their bombing attacks on Japanese war industries. Precision daylight bombing for specific industries but with higher losses. Less discriminating mass night bombing for fewer losses.
